Ornament seeks a male vocalist/narrator for their 2012-13 Winter Tour. Preference will be given to Baritone's but all vocal ranges are encouraged to audition. Vocalists must show an ability to "front" a 7-piece rock band. Ability to sing harmony is a must, as is theatrical ability to tell the "story" of the show thru narration. Must be available to rehearse twice a month through September and then 3-4 times a month until the tour starts at the end of November. ![]() rnament is Southern New England’s Premiere Rock Orchestra whose performances are designed to help raise much needed money for area schools, programs, and charities. Currently in our sixth year of touring, Ornament is an 11-piece Rock Orchestra specializing as a Tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. While smaller in scale than the actual TSO production, our show is, none the less, a full musical production complete with a full sound system and a light show consisting of dozens of lights, strobes, lasers, fog machines, and snow machines. Based out of southeastern Massachusetts, Ornament performs across southern New England each year during the winter holiday season. Similar to TSO’s own shows, the performances tell the tale of a real Christmas story; a story of Christmas wishes being answered. Using traditional holiday carols and songs set to rock, blues, and gospel music, the show tells a moving tale, helping to inspire all who hear it throughout the holiday season. Beginning in the Spring of 2012, Ornament will look to bring a new year-round show to the stage, performing not only the music of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but also from popular Broadway shows, classical composers, and any other rock or contemporary music that lends itself to the Rock Orchestra format. |
